    We are very pleased to announce that OpenEnglish.com  is the winner of the 2011 David Riley award.

    The winner was officially announced at the annual BESIG conference and was presented by Julia Waldner, on behalf of the BESIG committee, and Macmillan Sales and Marketing Director, Jo Greig.

  • BESIG 2011 – Onestopenglish party!

    It’s been a year of celebrations for onestopenglish.com as the site turned 10 this year. We’re bringing the party to Dubrovnik and the annual BESIG get-together. Come and get into the ‘spirit’ of things Croatian-style at the Macmillan stand from 5pm on Saturday 19th November.

    We’ve teamed up with Pete Sharma, the ‘doyen’ of Blended Learning, and he has produced us a brilliant lesson plan for part of Unit 14 of  Pre-Intermediate In Company Second Edition.

    This is the perfect chance for you to take that first step to introduce blended elements into your classroom..

  • In Company Original – The Best Bits…

    Everything grows up..  And we’ve seen In Company blossom from the Original Edition to the Second Edition.

    However, we want to hear from you about what you miss from the Original Edition that may not have made it into the Second Edition.  Did you have a favourite exercise that’s not there any more?  Let us know what it was and if you’re lucky we’ll try and pop them on the site so you don’t lose them…
