Call it what you will… it’s that extra little bit of something that helps you get along in a professional environment and makes other people say: ‘I really like working with her/him’ and makes employees think: ‘I want them on my team.’

We want you to share your secret skill. AND one lucky winner, whose skill we think is the most helpful, will win a mini projector so you can turn any surface into a classroom!

Anne- Marie Ross was the winner of our BESIG round. A simple but very powerful tip for rubbing along well in the professional environment clinched her the mini projector! ‘Learn everyone’s name – from the CEO to the cleaner – and use them!’

  • Think of a winning tip that helps you in a professional environment.
  • Stuck for ideas? Check out The Business 2.0 samples. Each unit has a real focus on these vital ‘5th skills.’ Alternatively watch our brilliant and FREE life coach videos.
  • Send your secret skill to help@macmillan.com with the subject heading ‘The Business 2.0 – Secret Skill Competition’. Try catching our attention by sending us a video clip of your secret skill or simply write it down in the email. Don’t forget to tell us a bit about you – where you teach and how to get in touch with you.
  • We’ll compile all the suitable entries into a Secret Skill Handbook in 2013 but one winner will WIN a mini portable multimedia pocket cinema mobile projector (perfect for giving classes anywhere).
  • Didn’t join us at BESIG? Don’t worry – the competition will remain ongoing on the website and more winners will be selected throughout 2013.
