A big thank you to everyone who took part in the In Company 2012 survey.

Business Experience Winner

We are very pleased to announce that Magdalena Sulikowska is the winner of The Business Experience competition that was run in conjunction with the Krakow University of Economics. Entrants were asked to provide a 60 second pitch stating the business case for a product of their choice. We were very impressed with all the entries but Magdalena’s professional and clear delivery got her the winning place.

Magdalena had this to say about her win: “I had a great time during making my 60 second challenge video, so when I got a message that I’m a winner of this competition I was delighted twice! Thanks to Macmillan Publishers that they decided to organize this competition for University of Economics in Krakow and that they give me a chance to see how they work in Oxford!”

In 2012 our monthly e-lessons will be based on an article by Business English expert, Pete Sharma, for you to use in class. Each article will investigate something topical to the business world and provide links for further research, information and discussion. A pdf of the article will also be available for you to download and share with your students.

These articles will offer you more flexibility in how you use them. Whether they form the basis of a reading lesson, a discussion activity, vocabulary presentation or extra homework you’ll find them an invaluable, relevant and practical tool for your business English teaching.

BESIG 2011 – Onestopenglish party!
